SEAN McCARTHY

The title of Sean McCarthy's debut CD Life In A Beach Town pretty much said it all.  Sean’s music and style of 
performance reflect the carefree, laid-back atmosphere of life by the sand and sea.

Sean is a Nashville recording artist and respected singer/songwriter with several national credits.  His original songs, as well as his cover material, are a colorful blend of tropical, pop and country.  Sean is truly one of the most popular entertainers on and around Amelia Island, and the island has been abuzz recently in anticipation of the release of his new CD,  A Bad Day of Fishin'.

 

A longtime Fernandina Beach resident, Sean is also a licensed charter boat captain and a top local fishing guide.  An attorney attending a corporate event at a resort on the island where Sean was playing poolside once approached him saying, “Man, I wish I had a job like yours”.  “Oh, I don’t do this for a living", Sean replied, “Fishin’s my day job.”
